Needed a transmission cross member for modified frame on a 1970 GTO.

I'm doing a frame off for my 1970 GTO. I welded a frame brace kit into the frame and had no idea what I really needed for my new Tremec 5 speed. Talked to a rep @ G Force, told him the new distance between frame rails and he recommended the cross member for a 1970 GTO convertible. Worked out great with a little fabrication that I had to do anyway.

Great BUT

I had scoured the Internet, looking for an adapter plate bolt kit, my adapter plate was a D stroke and they would not sell me the bolt kit so I had to search elsewhere. I found GeForce’s, everything worked perfectly matched up like it was supposed to except for the one Allen wrench bolt the head was a couple millimeters too big I had to grind it down to fit into the D stroked adapter plate, which is not GeForce’s fault at all. I am very thankful that they sent me just the bolts that I needed.

I was installing a Tremec on a Jaguar - factory mount was close to working, but not quite there. This mount was not as tall (which was another issue I had with factory fitment), so it fit much better with the correct driveshaft angle and location.

Super easy to put together. Pieces fit together tighter than I expected from bending tabs over. Makes fitting a swap so much easier and I am able to lift it in and out of an engine bay by hand instead of lifting a cast block with an engine hoist.
