Swap an LS Engine Using SBC Motor Mounts
LS to Small Block Chevy Motor Mount Adapter
Hey, Guys—Jordan from G-Force.
Today I have our LS to Small Block Chevy motor mounts in front of us. What's cool about these is that they adapt your LS engine to a standard Small Block Chevy motor mount. So, wherever your Small Block Chevy was, these will turn it into a bolt-in solution for LS engines. Another cool feature about these motor mounts is that they have a 3-degree drive for an angle built into the slots. And, there's three sets of slots. So, depending on where you want to put your engine, you can use our mounts for a variety of different locations.
It's a pretty simple setup. So, you will take the back plate apart and you bolt it to your engine, and then you after you bolt it to your engine, your bolt, this top plate with the PEM studs on it to that back plate that's already bolted to your LS.
And then, you'll take your existing Small Block Chevy motor mounts. Or, if you don't have them, we offer them on our website as a convenience item. And those will go right over the PEM studs. And, your, ears on these mounts will go into the existing mounting positions on your K member or subframe. So, it's a pretty nice drop-in solution for LS swaps, where a Small Block Chevy was originally.
