Heavy flywheels (30 lbs or more) are best when additional torque is needed for street driving or drag racing. The rotating inertia from a heavy flywheel moves your car better from a complete stop. It keeps your idle smooth, makes it easier to shift gears, and keeps RPMs from dropping too fast and stalling the engine.
