- The perfect crossmember for your LS Swap.

Fits Models: 2WD- C1500, C2500, C3500, GMT400, and Suburban.
Note: This crossmember will not work on 4WD vehicles.
- Fits Years: 1988-1998
- Fits the following Transmissions installed behind an LS engine swapped truck: TH350, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 2004R, TH400, Powerglide, 4L80E, 6L80E, 8L90E, Muncie, T10, TKO, TKX, T56.
- Most transmission applications are a direct bolt-in to the factory crossmember holes on the lower frame rail. Note: Early model years may require drilling new frame mounting holes for the 4L80E transmission.
- This crossmember is a stock replacement LS swap crossmember designed to allow a dual exhaust system to be routed under the crossmember, allowing ease of header connection, while keeping the exhaust above the frame rails.
- Great for stock chassis and lowered trucks alike.

The vehicles were not officially termed an X-Body during the early years. They were built on the Chevy II platform.See the G Force Crossmember Overview for more info.
This crossmember is installed with the G Force label facing the rear of the vehicle. However, another determining feature is the crossmember center tube which has a 1/2″ drain slot that is positioned on the bottom and on the passenger side next to the hump weldment.
This crossmember is installed so that the exhaust clearance humps are closed on the top and open on the bottom.
To use the provided 7/16″ hardware it is necessary to enlarge holes in your frame rails with a 1/2″ drill. If you choose to use the stock size 3/8″ hardware, it is strongly recommended to use new Grade #8 fasteners to compensate.
