These tools were engineered to prevent damage during the installation process. Moreover, the Bore Extender Fixture ensures that tricky last cam bearing goes in correctly, guaranteeing that once the task is completed, all of the cam bearings will be installed straight and concentric.

This kit makes it really easy to replace the cam bearings in LS engines. The cam bore extender allowed me to do all five bearings from the front of the engine, allowing me to keep the engine attached to the engine stand. I kept the rotating assembly in the engine and was able to pound the old bearings out and the new ones in with ease using the cam bearing tool.
