A Must for a GV Install in an A-Body

Worked great in my 66 Lemans with a TH400! I did have to drill two holes in the frame but that was super easy with a step drill. Using an Energy Suspension 3.1108G transmission mount and the mount spacers included with the crossmember, I was able to raise the GV unit so it tucked in nicely- this did require some massaging of the trans tunnel but really NBD and not noticeable from the inside of the car or once the GV is installed. This added step is important for driveline angle.

LS Cam Bearing Tool and Bore Extender Fixture | GF-CBTEXT-COMBO
A Must-Have for Easily Replacing Cam Bearings

This kit makes it really easy to replace the cam bearings in LS engines. The cam bore extender allowed me to do all five bearings from the front of the engine, allowing me to keep the engine attached to the engine stand. I kept the rotating assembly in the engine and was able to pound the old bearings out and the new ones in with ease using the cam bearing tool.

Wide Frame 1964-1967 & 1968-1972 A-Body Hardtop Crossmember | RCAE-W
Great Crossmember!

I initially bought the RCAE crossmember and found out my frame is slightly wider than standard. This RCAE-W was a real lifesaver. This is super sturdy and came with extra shims. My original crossmember utilized rubber inserts and the unit was able to shift around. This RCAE-W gives your frame extra rigidity and supports in the mid-section that it needs. Cleared my 3" exhaust with ease and also worked out perfectly for my parking brake cables. All that was needed to do was enlarge the stock holes to 1/2" and it bolted right in. Can't say enough good things about this product!
